Starting preschool or kindergarten usually means a first bag, a first bottle of their own and a box for snacks. This guide puts together the small-sized options we stock for ages 2 to 6, with the sizes and ages stated on each listing.
A first backpack

For children aged 3 and up, the Nohoo Mermaid and Nohoo Unicorn backpacks are a little bigger at 31 x 17 x 29 cm and 310g. The Mermaid listing describes a padded back panel, adjustable padded straps and two side pockets.
Before you choose, check what the preschool asks children to bring each day, such as a spare set of clothes or a file, and make sure it fits.
A bottle they can manage
